Comedy as a healing practice; relationship as a comedic practice

With a minor in Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies, along with 4 years of experience facilitating in Chicago Public Schools, I am both experienced and passionate about using comedic tools to foster community and strengthen relationships. My work is centered on transformative justice through the lens of play, and I work to make comedic practices accessible to all walks of life. I also bring restorative practices into every comedic project I take on. As part of a Transformative Justice class, I created a toolkit for comedians in community with one another to assist in preserving relationships and streamlining the creative process.
